Warrington Township Police seeking officer candidates as hiring process opens
Department touts competitive salary, specialty units and benefits package for prospective applicants

The Warrington Township Police Department is accepting resumes for police officer positions as the Bucks County department looks to add new recruits to its ranks.
In a recent hiring announcement, township police said they are seeking “motivated individuals” interested in serving the community and pursuing careers in law enforcement. Applications will be accepted through May 31. Interested candidates can submit resumes via email to [email protected].
According to the department, the starting base salary for 2026 is $82,418, with officers who already have prior law enforcement experience potentially eligible for salary step increases. The department also highlighted pension benefits, medical coverage, life insurance, education incentives and cadet pay among the compensation package offered to new hires.
Police officials said applicants must be at least 21 years old, a United States citizen, physically and mentally fit, possess a valid driver’s license and either already hold ACT 120 certification or be enrolled in a police academy at the time of appointment. Candidates also must have a high school diploma or GED and cannot have felony or misdemeanor convictions.
The department also promoted opportunities within several specialty units, including K9, SWAT, motors, MIRT, drone operations and ATV patrols.
Warrington Township Police described the position as an opportunity for candidates looking to “make a difference” through public service in the growing Bucks County community.
