A Warrington man with multiple prior retail theft convictions is facing new felony charges after police said he attempted to steal merchandise from Walmart over the weekend.
Warrington Township Police said officers responded around 12:34 p.m. May 3, 2026 to the Walmart at 299 Valley Gate Drive for a report of a retail theft in progress. Store loss prevention personnel told officers the suspect had left the store and was departing in a white Ford pickup truck.
Police located the vehicle nearby and conducted a traffic stop in the store parking lot, taking Sean Thomas Beluch, 52, into custody without incident.
According to investigators, Beluch passed all points of sale with merchandise valued at $343.12 without paying. Surveillance footage and witness statements confirmed the incident, police said.
Authorities also noted that Beluch was on house arrest through Bucks County Probation at the time of the arrest. Probation officials were notified, and a violation warrant was issued.
Court records show Beluch has seven prior retail theft convictions, including a previous incident at the same Warrington Walmart in April 2024.
He has been charged with felony retail theft and receiving stolen property and was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
All suspects and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
