A Telford Borough man has been charged by Bucks County detectives with two felonies related to the saving, sharing and uploading of child pornography last year on a map-based hookup app for gay, bisexual, and bi-curious men.
Shawn Enz, 47, of the 100 block of Fulton Avenue, is charged with a felony count each of possession of child pornography and criminal use of a communications device for alleged offenses that occurred in March 2025.
Enz is free on $200,000 unsecured bail, set by Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage.
The investigation began after Bucks County authorities received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children alleging a user of the app Sniffies, identified as Shawn Enz, 47, of the 100 block of Fulton Ave., saved, shared or uploaded child pornography on March 28, 2025, according to the affidavit.
The suspected child sexual abuse material depicted a prepubescent female exposing herself, police said.
On Feb. 13, 2026, investigators served a search warrant at Enz’s home in Bucks County, where Enz admitted to having a Sniffies account and confirmed his username, police said.
A Samsung phone was seized in the search, among other items, and a forensic examination revealed contents related to the previous cybertip, police said. Investigators allegedly found three other images of CSAM depicting prepubescent females.
While reviewing Enz’s Samsung phone, detectives found an email from Google sent to the address associated with the Cybertip, dated Feb. 2, 2026 at 5:02 p.m., according to the complaint. Detectives said the email explained Google received and responded to a legal process issued by law enforcement that compelled the resale of information related to Enz’s Google account.
Further investigation revealed a search history on Enz’s phone’s Chrome browser on Feb. 2, 2026 at 7:47 p.m. for “how to delete google account,” police said. Furthermore, Enz allegedly deleted numerous apps and folders on Feb. 3, 2026.
A preliminary hearing before Armitage is set for May 5.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
