Doylestown Borough will celebrate Earth Day with a community event focused on sustainability, education and family-friendly fun at Broad Commons Park on Saturday.

Hosted by the Doylestown Borough Environmental Advisory Council, the event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. will feature a range of activities promoting environmental awareness, including a native plant giveaway, free kids crafts, games and live music. Face painting will also be available for a fee.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with a variety of local environmental organizations and community groups, including the Bucks County Conservation District, Heritage Conservancy, Penn State Master Gardeners, Neshaminy Watershed Association and Peace Valley Nature Center, among others.

Organizers said the event is designed to engage residents of all ages while highlighting ways to support sustainability efforts within the community.
