Pennridge needed a quarter to find its rhythm — then the floodgates opened.

After managing just one goal in the opening frame, the Rams erupted for a 15-0 win over Central Bucks South on Monday night at Wayne Helman Field, using a dominant second quarter to take control and never look back, according to gameplay coverage from the Bucks County Herald.

Pennridge outscored the Titans 8-0 in the second to build a 9-0 halftime lead, then kept the pressure on into the second half.

“The first quarter was pretty crazy,” senior Madigan Posey told the newspaper. “We adjusted in the second quarter and just started winning the draws and scoring.” That adjustment proved decisive, with Pennridge controlling possession and dictating tempo the rest of the way.

Freshman Megan Moylan was a standout, finishing with four goals, an assist, eight draw controls, and three ground balls while helping flip the momentum after a slow start. Gianna Leuthe added two goals and an assist, while Emma Gall also scored twice.

According to the report, the Rams got contributions across the board, including strong defensive efforts from Harper Posey and Julia Lenox, as Pennridge showed depth despite replacing nine seniors from last year’s squad.

“We have new faces all over the field and I think they’re blending in great,” Posey told the newspaper, noting the team’s chemistry continues to grow.

With sights set on another Suburban One League National title and a deep playoff run, the Rams look to be finding their stride—just one quarter later than expected.
