Three men accused by Warrington Township Police of being a trio of thieves targeting Targets in the area have been charged with felony theft and other offenses for returning under-rung or stolen merchandise for profit.

Tyler Lamar Walker, 26, of the 3500 block of Longdale Avenue, Flint, Michigan, has been charged with two counts each of felony retail theft, receiving stolen property, and associated felony conspiracy charges, and misdemeanor charges of false identification to police and theft by deception, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Walker is free after posting 10% of $25,000 cash bail on Oct. 3 following two days at Bucks County jail, per court records.

On Oct 1.at 2:29 p.m., police responded to the 401 Easton Road Target store for a report of a retail theft in progress involving two suspects. Loss prevention told police the suspects’ vehicle was a gray Chevrolet Traverse with a Georgia registration, police said. The first suspect was described as a Black male, wearing a tan outfit with “LA” on a baseball cap, police said. The second suspect was described as a Black male wearing a light-blue pullover and gray sweatpants, police said.

Upon arrival on scene, police found in the parking lot the second suspect, identified as Walker, who police allege identified himself as “Monte Walker.” According to the affidavit, once a photograph of Monte Walker appeared on the police’s mobile data computer, Walker provided his real name.

Police stopped the Chevrolet before it left the parking lot, and identified the driver as Malike Seales, per the affidavit. The front seat passenger did not have identification, police said, but verbally identified himself as Brandon Walker.

Target loss prevention, police said, identified Brandon Walker as the subject who stole items from the store, and identified Tyler Walker as the man who did the return with a fraudulent receipt.

Police said there was stolen merchandise in plain view in the backseat of the Chevrolet, as well as GPS information for another Target store in Philadelphia.

Police allege that Brandon Walker entered the Warrington Target with no merchandise, walked to the rear of the store and selected four kitchenware sets. He then walked to self-checkout, police allege, where Brandon Walker placed a fraudulent barcode onto the sealed kitchen sets, scanning them for $10, resulting in a loss of $460.

Then, police said, Tyler Walker exited the SUV and entered Target with bags containing two kitchenware sets, where he went to guest services to complete a return.

The items were removed from a Target in Brandywine using a fake receipt, police said. When the return was done, Tyler Walker walked away with the full value of the sets in $250 cash, police said.

Brandon Walker, also of Flint, MI, per authorities, has two prior retail theft charges from different states. Police said both Walkers failed to pay for the merchandise retuned or taken from the store.

All three, police said, have been committing several thefts of Target stores in the area.

Brandon Walker was charged with felony counts of retail theft-taking merchandise, retail theft-under ringing merchandise, and receiving stolen property, as well as associated felony conspiracy charges, per court documents. Walker posted 10% of $25,000 cash bail on Oct. 3, after two days in Bucks County jail.

Seales, of Flint, MI, has been charged with misdemeanor retail theft and conspiracy offenses and was pegged as the driver, police said in the complaint. He is free on $500 cash bail, posted Oct. 3.

All three face a preliminary hearing on Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
