Emergency crews from Silverdale Volunteer Fire Co. and Hilltown Police responded Monday morning to a two-vehicle crash in Hilltown Township that left a pickup truck overturned and at least two people injured.

The crash occurred around 10:39 a.m. at the intersection of Souderton Road and Diamond Street and was initially dispatched as an “accident with rescue,” according to emergency reports. First responders arrived to find an overturned pickup truck and two occupants who had been trapped but were able to free themselves prior to crews’ arrival.

Officials reported two vehicles were involved, with one blocking the intersection as emergency personnel worked the scene. Two patients were evaluated, and a second ambulance was requested to assist.

At least two patients were transported to St. Luke’s Grand View Hospital — the first at about 10:55 a.m. by Chal-Brit EMS, and the second around 11:08 a.m. by Central Bucks EMS.

The scene was cleared by about 11:20 a.m. The extent of injuries was not immediately known, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
