Motorists using Route 113/Souderton Road in Hilltown Township should be aware of upcoming lane closures related to pipe replacement.
PennDOT announced Tuesday that pipe replacement will begin next week on a section of northbound Route 113, under a $15.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
From Tuesday, March 31, through Friday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure with flagging will be in place on northbound Route 113 between the off ramp of Route 309 (Sellersville Bypass) and Bethlehem Pike.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100% state funds.
