The closure affects Callowhill Road between Ferry Road and Creek Road, where crews are responding to a utility issue in the area.
Police advised motorists to plan ahead and use alternate routes while the roadway remains closed. Drivers traveling nearby are also urged to use caution and expect delays.
Authorities did not immediately indicate when the roadway is expected to reopen.
