As Trump Vows to Fix NIL Chaos With Executive Order, NIL Club Offers Athletes a Smarter and Fairer Way to Earn

On March 6, 2026, President Trump sat down at the White House with NCAA President Charlie Baker, Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, and conference leaders for a roundtable called ‘Saving College Sports.' Trump announced he will issue a sweeping executive order within the week to address the NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) mess, the economics, and the controversial collectives, which are groups that raise funds to support college athletes. Urban Meyer did not hold back, calling collectives cheating and straight up pay for play.

The timing could not be more relevant. The college sports world is still adjusting to the House v. NCAA settlement that now allows schools to pay athletes directly up to roughly 20.5 million dollars per year. While top programs are spending heavily, many athletes, especially those in non revenue sports and at mid major schools, are still struggling to benefit.

In the middle of all this uncertainty, one platform has been steadily growing by taking a different approach: NIL Club.

Unlike many traditional NIL collectives that depend on big money boosters, NIL Club is an agent free platform. It is built around fans directly supporting teams and athletes earning from brands in a transparent way.

Athletes at the same school or on the same team set up what is called an NIL Club. Fans pay a monthly subscription to receive exclusive content including behind the scenes videos, question and answer sessions, and more. The money goes into a shared pool and is split equally among every participating teammate. Everyone from the star to the walk on earns the same amount from the subscriptions.

The platform also includes a marketplace where athletes can opt into brand campaigns from companies such as Amazon, SoFi, and Coinbase. Athletes accept these opportunities directly in the app with no agents and no complicated contracts.

NIL Club now has over 650,000 registered student athletes across more than 2,000 schools and recently announced more than 20,000 active team groups. Athletes on the platform have collectively earned millions through fan subscriptions and brand deals.

This model stands out for its focus on compliance and fairness. With regulators paying closer attention to third party NIL deals and a new executive order expected soon, NIL Club was designed to avoid the gray areas that many collectives face. It is not a traditional collective and keeps everything transparent.

The platform is especially valuable for athletes in non revenue sports and at mid major programs who often miss out on big individual NIL opportunities. They can now earn consistently through their team's fan support.

As college sports moves toward more direct school payments and faces possible new federal rules, NIL Club works alongside those changes. It helps athletes earn while building stronger connections with fans and avoids many of the legal risks that are becoming more common.

With the old collective model under fire and new regulations coming, NIL Club offers a practical and equitable option for thousands of student athletes. It focuses on opportunity for more than just the biggest stars.
