A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon following a crash involving a minivan in Warminster Township.
Warminster Police said officers responded around 2:45 p.m. to the 100 block of East Street Road for a reported collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle. When officers arrived, they found the motorcycle operator down on the roadway.
Emergency crews reported the rider was experiencing gasping respiration at the scene before being transported by Central Bucks EMS to Abington Memorial Hospital. The rider’s condition was not immediately known.
The crash prompted the closure of East Street Road eastbound between Jacksonville Road and Johnsville Boulevard as police and investigators worked at the scene.
The Bucks County Crash Investigation Team was called to assist with the investigation. Warminster Police and the Warminster Fire Company responded to the incident.
Authorities have not yet released additional details about how the crash occurred.
