The Warminster Food Bank is pleased to announce a donation of $1,850 from the Warminster Police Benevolent Association. These funds will provide critical support to individuals and families facing food insecurity during the winter months.
The donation shows the strength of commitment of Warminster Township employees and volunteers who are helping out during a time of the year when food drives are especially meaningful. While the holiday season often inspires generosity, winter brings additional challenges for those in need. Utility expenses can stretch limited resources, causing people to choose between utilities or food. In addition, cold weather and difficult travel conditions can make accessing food assistance even harder.
“Serving our community goes beyond law enforcement,” stated Sgt. Kevin McLoughlin of Warminster Township Police Department. “The Warminster Police Benevolent Association is honored to support the Warminster Food Bank and the families they serve. We hope this donation helps ease some of the burden faced by residents during the winter months and reminds them that their community cares.”
Funds from the donation will help the Warminster Food Bank continue providing nutritious food to residents throughout the winter, ensuring that neighbors in need are supported during one of the most challenging seasons of the year.
“The Warminster Police Benevolent Association’s support means a great deal to the people we serve,” said Mike Cerino, Executive Director, Warminster Food Bank. “This kind of local, neighbor-to-neighbor giving helps ease the stress families experience when they’re worried about putting food on the table. Especially in the winter months, donations like this allow us to continue providing food with dignity to members of our own community.”
The Warminster Food Bank serves residents of Warminster Township, and other towns in Bucks and Eastern Montgomery County by providing emergency food assistance and connecting individuals and families with additional community resources.
