A Chalfont man is facing charges after police said he returned to a basketball game at Central Bucks South High School despite being barred from attending school sporting events.
James Russell Nick Combs, 18, was charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and a summary offense for carrying a false identification card following the Feb. 25, 2026 incident, according to Warrington Township Police.
Police said the situation stemmed from an earlier alleged encounter on Feb. 17, when an officer assigned to the school was asked by administrators to speak with Combs about a prohibition from attending school sporting events.
During that interaction, Combs allegedly acted dismissively toward the officer, repeatedly interrupting him and telling him to “shut up.” He also told the officer, “I don’t have time for you today,” while causing a disturbance in the presence of others, according to police. He was cited for disorderly conduct following that encounter.
Officers working a basketball detail at the school on Feb. 25 were notified by staff that Combs was inside the game despite the ban, police said. Officers observed him wearing his hood tightly drawn around his face in what police said was as an apparent attempt to conceal his identity.
When approached by school security and told to leave, Combs allegedly responded, “Make them come and get me." When an officer approached him, Combs reportedly said, “Don’t touch me and I’ll go, but don’t touch me,” while clapping loudly in an apparent attempt to draw attention and incite other students.
Police said Combs was being escorted toward the exit when he abruptly turned and began walking further into the building. Officers then took him into custody and transported him to the police station.
During processing, officers said they located a fake identification card in his possession.
