A man who assaulted a victim outside a Doylestown Borough bar last summer awaits sentencing in Bucks County Court after pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct charges earlier this month.
Patrick Stan Kulikowski, 23, was facing a more serious aggravated assault charge, lodged against him by Central Bucks Regional Police. He is free on bail ahead of sentencing.
According to a criminal complaint, Central Bucks Regional police were called to the area of East State and Pine streets around 10:53 p.m. August 22, 2025, after a reported assault.
Officers spoke with the victim who told them Kulikowski had been physically aggressive with them on numerous occasions. The victim said that night at Maxwell’s on Main (MoMs), Kulikowski threatened to assault them, according to authorities.
The victim went outside to help Kulikowski find his car when he pushed them against a wall on Pine Street and then began punching them in the face, police said.
A bystander said she heard the victim screaming in fear and saw Kulikowski walk away as she approached, police alleged.
The witness also observed that the victim’s shirt was ripped in the back and that the victim had visible swelling on the cheek and scratches on the neck and arm.
Kulikowski left the scene and was later taken into custody at his home by Central Bucks Regional and Plumstead Township police.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
