Firefighters responded Sunday afternoon to a dwelling fire in Buckingham Township that heavily involved an attached garage and extended into the home.
According to Doylestown Fire Co. No. 1 on Facebook, first responders were dispatched at 2:11 p.m. from Doylestown's Stations 19 and 79 to the 3600 block of East Brandon Way.
Arriving crews found a fully involved attached garage with fire extending into the residence. Occupants were able to safely self-evacuate, fire officials said.
Firefighters operated under difficult snow and ice conditions while extinguishing the fire and limiting further damage. No injuries were reported. Crews remained on scene for more than two hours.
The fire marshal is investigating the cause.
