Pipe replacement work is scheduled to begin next week along a stretch of northbound Route 113 (Souderton Road) in Hilltown Township for stormwater improvements.
PennDOT said a weekday lane closure will be in place Monday through Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on northbound Route 113 between the Route 309 off-ramp (Sellersville Bypass) and Bethlehem Pike. Motorists traveling through the area should expect delays and are advised to allow extra time.
The work is part of a $15.9 million PennDOT project aimed at upgrading stormwater management infrastructure along more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region. The schedule is weather dependent.
Highway Materials Inc. of Flourtown is serving as the general contractor. The project is being funded entirely with state dollars. Drivers can check real-time traffic conditions and construction updates at 511PA.com or by calling 5-1-1.
