A Warrington man heads to trial in Bucks County Common Pleas Court after a felony fleeing from police charge, a misdemeanor reckless endangerment offense and numerous traffic violations, stemming from a December arrest, were held at a recent preliminary hearing.
Andres Ortiz Columna, 20, was the alleged driver of a vehicle stopped by Warrington Police on Dec. 7, 2025 on Oxford Drive, due to alleged motor vehicle violations.
During the stop, an officer observed live small-caliber firearm ammunition in Columna’s clothing, police said.
When instructed to shut off the vehicle, Columna instead allegedly placed the vehicle in drive and fled at a high rate of speed.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, activating emergency lights, but Columna continued to flee, nearly striking a marked police vehicle, authorities said. He then turned off his vehicle lights and proceeded through a red traffic signal before escaping, police alleged.
A warrant was issued for Columna’s arrest, and, on Dec. 20, 2025, officers received information that he was at a residence on Pileggi Road.
Police responded to the location and took Columna into custody. He remains jailed on 10% of $750,000 cash bail, according to court documents.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
