Doylestown Township has declared a snow emergency ahead of Sunday’s storm, effective 11:30 a.m. Thursday until further notice.
During this time, public parking is prohibited to allow for efficient plowing and road maintenance.
According to township police, Ordinance 151-10 prohibits plowing, shoveling, or blowing snow onto public roads. The township said violators will be subject to fines.
Residents are also reminded to clear sidewalks and driveways safely and to give snowplows room to operate during and after the storm.
