PRODUCT RECALL

Adirondack-style chairs sold at Home Depot, Lowe's recalled due to risk of collapse

Consumers can return the chairs for a full refund

  • Public Safety

Before they crack and jab a rib, or worse, Adirondack-style patio chairs purchased from Home Depot and Lowe's can be returned by consumers for a full refund, in the wake of a product recall.

The chairs that were sold at both retailers nationwide have been recalled, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The chairs were manufactured by Adams Manufacturing Corp., of Portersville, PA, and pose an injury risk because they can crack and collapse, the CPSC said.

The chairs were sold in blue, dark gray, navy blue, taupe, light blue, lime green and teal, between August and October 2025 under the brand names Adams RealComfort and StyleWell.

Turn the chair over and look at the underside for the manufacture date and model number that is part of the recall.

The manufacture date is indicated by a dot on a grid, at the intersection of column "A" and row "25," the CPSC said.

All recalled chairs have "ML837-15" molded on the underside.

Consumers should stop using the chairs immediately and return them, the CPSC said.
