The Warrington Township Police Department recognized Chief Daniel J. Friel last month for reaching a milestone 25 years of police service to the community.
Friel has dedicated 29 years to Warrington Township overall and is marking 10 years as chief of police, making him just the fourth chief in the township’s history. During that time, he has worked closely with officers, civilian staff, township leadership, and residents to advance public safety and strengthen community partnerships.
Department officials highlighted several accomplishments achieved during Friel’s tenure, including the opening of Warrington’s state-of-the-art police facility and the department’s success in earning and maintaining state accreditation. Officials said those milestones reflect a collective effort supported by officers, staff, and the broader community.
The department thanked its personnel and residents for their continued support and congratulated Friel on the milestone, noting a shared commitment to continued service, partnership, and progress in the years ahead.
