Three alumni of St. Jude School returned to campus last week to share their journeys from local classrooms to one of the nation’s most selective universities.
Grayson McKeogh, Katie Goettner, and Ella Huber, all members of the Class of 2022, spoke with students in grades five through eight about academics, faith, and perseverance as they prepare to begin studies this fall at the University of Notre Dame, according to the Bucks County Herald.
Each described setbacks along the way, from injuries to demanding schedules, and emphasized the role their faith and support systems played in helping them succeed.
The trio, now seniors at La Salle College High School, Gwynedd Mercy Academy, and Lansdale Catholic, also highlighted their future plans, which include playing Division I football, rowing competitively, and pursuing engineering and finance degrees.
The school is at 323 W. Butler Ave. in New Britain Township.
