Warwick Township in Bucks County has been recognized as one of the safest communities in Pennsylvania for 2026, ranking near the top of a new statewide list compiled by SafeWise based on FBI crime data

Warwick Township placed fourth overall among Pennsylvania municipalities evaluated for low violent and property crime rates, joining a select group of communities that made the organization’s "Safest Cities in Pennsylvania" ranking.

The SafeWise list, released in early 2026, aggregates crime statistics reported by the FBI to assess safety across hundreds of municipalities in the Keystone State.

Out of the cities and townships that met reporting criteria, Warwick Township, with a population of around 14,700, posted impressively low violent and property crime rates — contributing to its high placement at No. 4 on the statewide list.

What the ranking means for Warwick

According to SafeWise, several of Pennsylvania’s safest communities — including Warwick Township — reported no robberies in the period analyzed, underscoring the township’s strong public safety record. The ranking places Warwick ahead of most other municipalities in the commonwealth and highlights local crime rates that compare favorably with statewide trends. While Pennsylvania overall has seen increases in some categories of crime in recent years, communities like Warwick buck that trend with consistently low reported incidents.

Warwick Township’s top-five finish also places it ahead of many neighboring communities in Bucks County. Another local municipality, Newtown Township, ranked seventh on the SafeWise list, demonstrating a broader pattern of comparatively low crime in parts of the county.

Bucks County as a whole tends to fare well in safety assessments; independent analyses show the county ranked in the 94th percentile nationwide for overall safety, with crime levels lower than the vast majority of U.S. counties.

Warwick Township officials publicly celebrated the ranking, noting it as a point of pride for residents and local law enforcement. The recognition on SafeWise’s statewide list reaffirms the township’s reputation as a safe and family-oriented community — an attractive feature for current residents and prospective newcomers alike.
