Phillies appear to make uniform tweak that will please the sickos

This one is for the sickos.

As noted by Chris Creamer of SportsLogos.Net, chain stitching seems to be back on Phillies jerseys in 2026:

This is the type of thing that you need to be in the top 1% of uniform aficionados to care about. With that said, one of the criticisms of Nike as MLB's official uniform provider — they license their branding to Fanatics, who produces the threads — is that they have taken shortcuts and not worried about perfecting the little things that previously made a big league uniform special. This is a niche detail that they've corrected, presumably after getting negative feedback after ditching the chain stitching in 2024.

Jersey advertisements aren't going anywhere, meaning we'll almost certainly never see numbers return to the sleeves of the home and road uniforms for the Phillies. The 4+1 rule that forced the Phillies to eliminate their red tops after 2023 — both in Spring Training and as a "getaway day" jersey for road games in the regular season — probably isn't going anywhere. But hey, take the small victories when you get them.
