With Winter Storm Hernando expected to bring heavy snow and hazardous conditions, Pennridge School District announced that schools will operate on a Flexible Instructional Day on Monday.
Students will learn from home, with instruction primarily asynchronous. The day will count as a regular school day and will not need to be made up later in the year.
All after-school sports and activities scheduled for Monday have been canceled.
In addition, the monthly Pennridge School Board meeting originally scheduled for Monday evening has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m.
District officials encouraged families and staff to plan accordingly as the storm moves through the region.
