Firefighters from across Bucks and Montgomery counties responded to a working house fire in Warminster Township Friday evening.
Crews were dispatched around 6:18 p.m. to the 1400 block of Hampton Lane for a reported dwelling fire. Initial reports indicated smoke showing from the rear of a single-family split-level home, with fire extending into the second floor and roof area.
Upon arrival, Warminster Fire Department confirmed an active fire in the rear of the home that had spread into the attic. Additional units were requested to assist, including a rapid intervention team assignment and mutual aid from Hartsville, Warrington, and Parkland fire companies in Bucks, and Horsham Fire Co. in Montgomery County. .
All occupants were accounted for, and EMS units were called to the scene. There was no immediate word on injuries.
