Central Bucks East delivered late-inning heroics Tuesday, earning a 2-1 walk-off win over North Penn in SOL Colonial Division action.
According to The Mercury, Finn Gale drove in the winning run in the seventh, capping a strong pitching performance from Jason Abert, who struck out 10 over six innings.
Central Bucks West also came out on top in a tightly contested matchup, edging Central Bucks South 4-3. Jack Hogenauer played a key role both at the plate and on the mound, contributing an RBI double before closing out the game to secure the save, according to gameplay coverage.
Pennridge, meanwhile, was locked in a pitching battle but came up short in a 1-0 loss to Souderton. The Rams were limited to just one hit, while Ryder Olsen and Anthony Cox combined for a strong effort on the mound despite the narrow defeat.
