A popular Warrington nightlife spot has closed after eight years in business.
Swig Nightclub, located in the Warrington Pavilion along Easton Road, held its final night on Friday, March 28 before announcing its closure on social media days later.
In a message to customers, ownership thanked patrons for years of support, highlighting the memories made through holidays, events and weekend gatherings.
Originally opening in 2018 under new management, the club became a well-known destination for dancing, DJs and Top 40 music, drawing crowds from across Bucks County, according to the Bucks County Herald. In addition to its dance floor, Swig also built a following among billiards players, offering multiple pool tables for leagues and tournaments.
Owner Emanuel “Manny” Bet-Esfandiar told PhillyBurbs the decision to close came down to the demands of balancing the nightclub with his full-time construction business. He described the venture as a successful run but said it had become too much to manage alone.
Despite the closure, Bet-Esfandiar indicated the space could reopen under new ownership, noting the business is ready for someone else to take over if the right opportunity arises.
