Three charged in multi-state burglary ring tied to Warrington break-in

Police said suspects linked to organized group operating out of New York City

  • Public Safety

Warrington Township Police have charged three men in connection with a burglary in a residential neighborhood that investigators say is part of a larger, multi-state crime pattern.

Officers were called Jan. 24, 2026 to the 3000 block of Magdeline Drive in the Parkview Development for a reported burglary that occurred between about 2 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Authorities later determined the incident matched a series of similar break-ins reported across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.

Following a multi-agency investigation, police identified three suspects — Robinson Jean Paul Moncada Patarroyo, Daniel Alejandro Garcia Arenas and Yeison Estiven Gonzalez Rodriguez — and filed charges against them. Investigators believe the men are connected to an organized burglary crew operating out of the Queens section of New York City and associated with a larger South American theft group.

All three defendants, identified as Colombian nationals, are facing burglary and related charges across multiple jurisdictions, including Warrington and Bensalem in Bucks County; Franconia, Montgomery and Lower Salford townships in Montgomery County; and Rice Township in Luzerne County.

Garcia Arenas was arraigned April 1and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. The two remaining defendants are being held at out-of-state facilities and are awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

The investigation involved coordination between several agencies, including Warrington and Bensalem police, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, Rice Township Police, West Windsor Police in New Jersey and the New York Police Department’s Burglary Unit.

Warrington police credited the collaborative effort with helping identify and apprehend the suspects, noting the case reflects the importance of interagency cooperation in addressing organized criminal activity.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
