The ever-popular Wines on the Hill Festival returned to St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Augsburg Drive in Hilltown Township on Saturday afternoon.
The 12th annual event benefitted Hilltown Township Vol. Fire Co. and offered fares from local wineries, breweries, and distilleries, as well as food, arts & crafts and live music. For $25 in advance -- $35 at the gate – attendees received a commemorative goblet with their entry. Non-alcoholic beverages were also offered at the site.

According to its website, the Wines On The Hill festival is a fundraising event organized and hosted by the members of Hilltown Fire Company. The festival is the largest fundraising project for the fire company and provides vital supplemental funding for continuous fire, rescue, and EMS services, according to the website.
The Hilltown Township Volunteer Fire Company protects citizens of Hilltown, New Britain and Hatfield townships of Bucks and Montgomery counties. It has about 40 volunteers who provide emergency medical, fire suppression, and rescue services over an 18-square-mile area.
Hilltown Township Fire has two fire stations, one in the Line Lexington area and the other in the Village of Hilltown, according to its website.
