Bucks County authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a Florida man accused of breaking into a vehicle outside a fitness center in 2023 and using a stolen credit card to make fraudulent purchases.
According to Doylestown Township Police, officers were called to the parking lot of a local fitness center at 5:20 a.m. on Sept. 13, 2023, for a reported vehicle break-in. The rear window of a patron’s vehicle had been smashed and a wallet was missing. Police said the victim’s credit card was later used to buy three Vanilla Visa prepaid cards totaling $1,500.
Detectives said they traced $1,000 of those purchases to Demetrius White, 29, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, who was identified as the individual allegedly responsible for using the stolen funds.
After an extensive investigation, Bedminster Township Police joined Doylestown Township as co-affiants on the case since the victim resides in Bedminster, police said.
On Aug. 27, 2025, an arrest warrant was issued for White on charges of felony access device fraud, and misdemeanor counts of theft by deception and receiving stolen property, according to court records.
Authorities said White remains wanted as of this week. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Doylestown Township Police or Bedminster Township Police.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
