As the tractor turned left, the Hyundai driver swerved off the roadway, struck a traffic sign, and then hit a home on Ridge Valley Road. The crash caused minor damage to the residence. No injuries were reported.

Sept. 2 — Multiple crashes

Officers handled two separate collisions on Sept. 2.

  • In the first, a driver of a Hyundai Sonata struck a Ford F-350 stopped at a red light on Route 313 at Fifth Street, pushing it into a Ford Escape. Police said the Hyundai’s driver suffered minor injuries and was cited for causing the crash.
  • Later the same day, a Honda Civic driver failed to stop for a red light at Ridge Road and Bethlehem Pike and struck a Chrysler minivan. Police reported minor injuries, and the Civic’s driver was cited for running the signal.

Sept. 3 — Rear-end crash on Ridge Road

A driver of a Toyota Tacoma rear-ended a Chevrolet Equinox in the 100 block of Ridge Road near Bethlehem Pike after failing to stop for traffic at the signal. Both drivers reported minor injuries. Drivers were able to drive vehicles from the scene.

Sept. 4 — Collision at State and Old State roads

Police responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a Ford Flex and a Dodge Journey. Investigators determined the driver of the Ford pulled out from a stop sign on Old State Road and was struck by the Dodge. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed. Minor injuries were reported.
