Warrington Township Police said three people are facing charges after a coordinated retail theft at the state Wine & Spirits store on Easton Road earlier this summer.
On Aug. 5, 2025, officers were dispatched around 5:02 p.m. to the store at 306 Easton Road for a theft in progress. According to investigators, Danielle Baugh was observed removing $210.90 worth of liquor without paying and fleeing on foot. Officers quickly apprehended her nearby.
Store staff later reviewed surveillance footage and determined Baugh had not allegedly acted alone. Police said the video showed a man and a woman in a wheelchair involved in the theft. The footage, along with vehicle registration details, helped officers identify the male suspect as Bobby Young, 56.
Investigators said Young transported both Baugh and the second woman, identified as Khadija Davis, to the shopping center in a blue 2003 Lexus RX300. The vehicle was allegedly being operated with an expired and improperly registered license plate.
Surveillance video showed Young assisting Davis into the store and then making a small purchase himself while the theft occurred, a move police believe was meant to distract staff or minimize suspicion, police said.
On Aug. 8, with assistance from the Cheltenham Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop on the Lexus, further connecting all three individuals to the incident. Police said the coordinated effort allowed investigators to confirm the group’s roles in the theft and move forward with charges.
“The Warrington Township Police Department continues its efforts to protect businesses and residents through swift and effective response to criminal activity,” the department said in a statement.
