Three area fire companies responded to a reported patio fire on the 1900 block of Lower State Road near Almshouse Road and Castle Valley Park in Doylestown Township Monday afternoon.
According to Bucks County emergency radio reports, pets were rescued from the home and there were no injuries. The fire was under control in about 20 minutes.
Lower State Road is closed at Almshouse Road and at Route 202.
Doylestown Fire was assisted by Plumsteadville Fire and Warrington Fire.
