Bucks County’s oldest residents are getting their day in the spotlight next month.
The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging will host its second annual Centenarian Luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Christ’s Home, inviting county residents age 100 and up to celebrate their milestone lives and contributions.
“This luncheon is our way of honoring the wisdom, resilience, and legacy of our eldest residents,” said Kristin Chapin, director of the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging, in a news release. “We look forward to celebrating their remarkable journeys with the community.”
County officials and Agency on Aging representatives will attend to recognize centenarians and share their stories. Most eligible residents should receive mailed invitations early this month, but the agency stressed it wants to ensure no one is missed.
Centenarians — or family members on their behalf — who did not receive an invitation or have questions can contact Jessica Seith at [email protected].
