A juvenile from Warwick Township is facing retail theft and underage alcohol possession charges after police said they stole alcohol from the Wegmans store on Main Street in late September.
According to Warrington Township Police, loss prevention staff contacted an officer on Sept. 24, 2025, to report two theft incidents that occurred that day and on Sept. 30. Investigators said the two suspects opened containers of alcohol and concealed them in backpacks.
Later that same evening, the suspects allegedly returned and stole additional alcohol.
Police said the total value of the stolen merchandise was $124.93. One of the suspects was identified as a juvenile resident of Warwick Township.
A non-traffic citation was filed charging the teen with retail theft and underage possession, consumption, or transportation of alcohol, police said. The second suspect was not immediately identified, police said.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
