Home at Last Dog Rescue hosted a howling good time Saturday at Parkside Place Park in Upper Gwynedd at its 11th annual “Howloween 5K Dog Walk & Fall Fair”
The frightfully-fun event featured a 5K run and 1-mile dog walk, with costumed canines melting hearts. Attendees had the opportunity to win more than 60 raffle baskets, including signed Philadelphia Eagles helmets from Saquon Barkley and Cooper DeJean, and bid on silent auction items, like a signed DeJean football and suite tickets to the Sixers vs. Lakers game.
There were also food trucks galore from Buns On the Go, Philly Waffle, and Rosa’s Sweet Corn, and more than 80 fair vendors.
Home At Last also had a human and dog costume contest.
Event sponsors included Metropolitan Veterinary Associates, Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital, Bucks County Auto Care, Fretz RV, Ally Psych Services, Dischell Bartle Dooley Law Offices, Patient First, Paw Power Nutrition, Hilltown Services Inc., Media Proper, Superior Fence and Rail of Southeastern PA, and Scenthound.
