2 injured in 2-car crash on John Fries Highway Wednesday afternoon

The collision in Milford Township, Bucks County occurred near Milford Square Drive and the Exxon gas station, with damage consistent with a head-on collision

Two people were injured in a 2-car collision on John Fries Highway in Milford Township Wednesday afternoon.

The 3 p.m. crash involved a white SUV and a black pick-up truck, both with severe front-end damage consistent with a head-on crash, near Milford Square Drive and the Exxon gas station. 

    
    


The roof of the pickup was removed to rescue occupants. 

One of the patients was taken for traumatic injuries to St. Luke's Grand View. 

Trumbauersville Fire Co. and Milford Square Fire Co. responded to the scene, along with Upper Perkiomen Valley Ambulance Association ALS and other Bucks County EMS responders.

A tractor trailer was stopped near the scene, but is unknown Wednesday afternoon if its driver played a role in the crash.

Avoid the area.
