Motorcyclist, driver injured in 3-vehicle crash on Route 309 Saturday night

The northbound lanes of Route 309 are closed Saturday night in front of In-Line 309 in Hilltown Township at Sterling Drive following a crash involving a motorcycle and two vehicles that sent two people to Grand View Hospital.

Police said the motorcyclist and the driver of a dark blue Kia sedan were taken from the scene for treatment of injuries of unknown extent following the 6:32 p.m. crash. Their conditions are unknown Saturday night. The third vehicle involved is a dark-colored Chevrolet Silverado pickup.

According to reports from the scene, the motorcycle sustained significant damage and came to rest in the middle turn lane of Route 309/Bethlehem Pike along its 2100 block.  The pickup has a broken passenger side window and the Kia has damage to the rear back door.

Hilltown Police handled the scene.
