Central Bucks West racked up another big win Friday night, pulling off a comeback 28–14 victory over previously undefeated Pennridge at home.
With the Rams entering the game without a loss, the Bucks’ bounce-back showed both grit and execution under pressure, according to PA Football News.
The turning point came late in the fourth quarter, when CB West stood up 21–14 with only three minutes left. The Bucks had a shot to put the game away with a 28-yard field goal attempt by Mason, but opting to keep the heat on, they didn’t settle just yet, according to the report. From there, they pushed the lead further and locked in the victory.
This win made it 28–14 in favor of the Bucks, handing Pennridge its first loss of the season and improving CB West’s record to 6–2.
It also extended the Bucks’ strong run at home — they’ve now won eleven straight home games, continuing their dominance in front of the home crowd, according to MaxPreps..
While Pennridge did manage to get on the scoreboard via touchdowns by Nate Derstine and Ryan Rowe, they were never able to fully close the gap, according to the report.
