As the leaves turn in October, Christ’s Home invites the community to a special night of worship, music, and connection — a concert that feels more like family gathering than merely an event.
On Thursday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m., the acclaimed Christian vocal group Point of Grace will take the stage at Christ’s Home’s Community Center for the Autumn Anniversary Concert, at 800 York Road in Warminster.
Christ’s Home’s mission is to serve both children and elders in love and dignity, according to its website. This year marks the organization’s 122nd anniversary of care and compassion.
Point of Grace has long been a pillar in the Christian music world. The trio — Shelley Breen, Denise Jones, and Leigh Cappillino — has been performing together since the early 1990s, according to their website. The group has sold millions of albums, won multiple Dove Awards, earned Grammy nominations.
Their music often touches on themes of faith, friendship, perseverance, and identity.
Christ’s Home Community Center has hosted well-known Christian acts, such as in September 2024 when Phillips, Craig & Dean drew attendees from multiple states to support the ministry.
Christ’s Home said in a release the concert is meant to unite residents, staff, donors, and neighbors in celebration of what Christ’s Home has achieved — and the future it strives to build.
Point of Grace is expected to perform beloved hits and new songs, in faith-driven melodies with heartfelt harmonies. Christ’s Home is also using the event as an opportunity to learn about its work and the difference its programs make in people’s lives.
