One person was transported from the scene of a 2-car crash in downtown Chalfont Borough Wednesday afternoon, affecting lunch hour traffic near a busy intersection.
Around 12:15 p.m., a crash involving a 4-door dark gray SUV and a gray Dodge pickup truck occurred in front of Leonardo's Pizza at Butler Avenue and Main Street. Both cars were towed from the scene, as the SUV sustained heavy front-end damage and the truck sustained rear damage, with a wheel severing from the rear axle.
Central Bucks Regional Police responded to the scene.
