A craft winery and bistro that opened on the street level of a restored 19th century building in Doylestown Borough has closed after less than two years in business.
Waters Edge Winery & Bistro closed last week at 50 N. Main St., after opening in March 2024, according to the Bucks County Herald.
The property owner, who leased the building to proprietors Eric and Nicole Landolfi, told the newspaper that “it didn’t work out” for the couple. She expected to lease out the location soon.
Waters Edge, per the report, was a franchise location for Circa 72 out of California.
The winery offered wines from regions around the world, made in-house, including merlots, cabernets, pinot noirs, sauvignon blancs and chardonnays. The winery’s menu offered classic tapas, sliders, and Italian and Mediterranean style charcuterie boards.
