An age-restricted mobile home community received another approval toward its goal of expanding its footprint by adding 29 more homes to its 115 units.
According to the Bucks County Herald, Hilltown supervisors gave preliminary approval last Monday to a plan for an additional 29 homes at the Village of Quiet Acres, which comprises about 36 acres on Orchard and Pheasant Hill roads.
The next step is final development approval by supervisors.
According to the report, construction would occur on eight of 20 acres of vacant, forested land adjacent to the property, with the remaining acreage left as open space.
A second entrance to the new portion is also planned.
