Doylestown Township Police reported four separate criminal mischief incidents last month, ranging from property damage to roadway vandalism and vehicle tampering.

On Oct. 8, 2025, the Furlong Post Office sustained damage when two of its windows were shattered after unknown individuals threw golf-ball-sized objects at the building. Police said similar vandalism was reported in neighboring jurisdictions the same night.

Three days later, on Oct. 11, a 17-year-old driver was charged after intentionally spinning their tires on Sugar Bottom Road, leaving a prolonged “burnout” mark across the pavement.

On Oct. 18, officers received a report from a driver on Swamp Road who said a passenger in a nearby vehicle leaned out and threw an egg at their car while both vehicles were in motion.

The month’s final case occurred on Oct. 25, when officers responded to a call for a person spray-painting the overpass along the Route 611 Bypass.

Police did not release additional details and did not indicate whether any of the incidents are believed to be related. All details were released Thursday.
