A Halloween-night traffic stop in Doylestown Borough led to the arrest of a 27-year-old Buckingham Township man who police said was dressed as a bunny while riding a motorcycle under the influence.

According to Central Bucks Regional Police, the incident occurred on Oct. 31, 2025, at South Main Street and West State Street, where officers stopped the motorcyclist after he allegedly ran a red light.

Police said the man had bloodshot eyes and admitted to consuming alcohol before driving. A portable breath test returned positive for alcohol, and officers reported that he was unable to complete field sobriety tests.

Police also learned the man had a suspended DUI license and active arrest warrants. He was taken into custody and remanded to Bucks County Prison on a detainer for the Philadelphia Police Department, police said.

A criminal complaint has been filed, police said. The information was released Nov. 4.
