A Warrington man who broke a victim's jaw during a fight avoided prosecution on a felony aggravated assault charge and pleaded guilty in a negotiated plea in Bucks County Court last week to misdemeanor disorderly conduct by fighting, getting one year of probation.
Eric Horace Wilson, 24, was involved in the fight at a home on Billingsley Drive in the township on Feb. 10, 2025, and was subsequently charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, misdemeanor assault and harassment, police said.
Upon arrival to the scene, police found an argument had taken place, which became physical, with Wilson punching the victim in the face, breaking their jaw, police said, which required surgery.
As part of his guilty plea arrangement, Wilson must repay $1,900 to the victim, complete in-person anger management classes by February 2026, and must stay away from the victim, per court records.
Wilson is also prohibited from consuming illicit drugs and alcohol, must maintain full-time employment, and must undergo a mental health evaluation, according to court documents. He was represented by Langhorne attorney Steven Jones.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
