2-car crash at busy Warwick intersection Thursday afternoon sends at least 1 to hospital

A 2-car crash with rescue involving a Toyota SUV and a silver pickup truck sent at least one person to an area hospital for treatment of injuries at a busy Warwick Township intersection Thursday afternoon.

The crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. at Meetinghouse and Almshouse roads in front of Warwick Elementary School, backing traffic up after police closed Meetinghouse Road.

The patient was transported with unknown extent of injuries by Central Bucks EMS after Warwick Fire unjammed the driver door following the crash.

Both vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage.
