Construction on the North Penn Water Authority’s 2.7-mile transmission line along Ridge Road is progressing faster than expected, with completion now anticipated by early September, according to The Reporter.
During the May 21 West Rockhill Board of Supervisors meeting, NPWA’s Dan Preston shared that about 0.75 miles of construction remain, according to the report.
The project, which started in early February and was originally scheduled to finish in October, will connect existing Sellersville-area water lines to the NPWA’s main system in New Britain Township to comply with updated EPA regulations.
Road closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. will continue, though Ridge Road remains open to local traffic.
Work on the west side of Almont Road will begin next week, and road restoration is slated for early August.
Preston also noted a pending request from Noah’s Ark Daycare to connect to the Telford Borough Authority’s public water system, which may require quick township approval to avoid delays, per the report.
