The two four-member teams vying for four seats on the Pennridge School Board will square off in the November general election.
Unofficial results from the Bucks County’s Department of Voter Services showed the Pennridge Community Alliance sweeping the Democratic ballot and the Pennridge for Excellence team sweeping the Republican ballot in Tuesday’s primary election.
The Pennridge Community Alliance team consists of newcomers Carly Taylor, Thomas Trauger, Nathaniel Leffever and Dan Bebernitz, while the Pennridge for Excellence team consists of former Republican board member Jonathan Russell as well as newcomers Brian McMullen, Michael Bongiovanni and Dan Mainieri.
On the Democratic ballot, Taylor topped the field with 3,691 votes, followed by Trauger with 3,469 votes, Leffever with 3,402 and Bebernitz with 3301.
On the Republican ballot, McMullen topped the field with 3,222 votes, followed by Bongiovanni with 3,101, Russell with 3,016 and Mainieri with 2,971.
The results will remain unofficial until certified by the Bucks County Board of Elections.
