BUCKS COUNTY FIRE

2nd-story house fire brought under control quickly by fire personnel Tuesday afternoon

The call came in for a house fire in Silverdale Borough around 12:42 p.m.

Fire personnel were able to work together to bring a house fire under control quickly at 118 E. Walnut Street in Silverdale Borough Tuesday afternoon.

The fire call came in at 12:42 p.m. reporting heavy fire on the second story of a home, with fire crews reporting the smoker header visible at a mile away from the scene. The home is located behind SIlverdale Fire Co. and near Pennridge Central Middle School. 

    

PP&L is on scene, as is the Bucks County Fire Marshal, according to Bucks County emergency radio traffic. 

Fire crews remain on scene for hot spots and overhaul. 

There are no reported injuries. The fire was under control by 1:05 p.m. 

Hilltown Township Fire Rescue responded to the scene, as well as Silverdale Fire Police.
